Transforming Objects + Rooms to tell Stories

P&G came to ISL with a challenge: create an unparalleled, irresistible, and magical interactive experience showcasing P&G’s brands changing the way we live, consume, and adapt for environmental sustainability.

In response, my team developed and built the panoramic projection-mapped “Innovation Box.” Visitors to the 2018 Sustainable Brands conference could enter this room, choose from blank 3D models of P&G products and place them on an activation sensor. Projectors then painted the models with light, transforming them into recognizable P&G brands and triggering a total transformation of the room from normal home into immersive animated worlds.

 

3D modeling and rapid physical prototyping were crucial to creating an immersive projection-mapped experience.

 

We worked with illustrators Catalina Vasquez, Will Dove and motion studio Duke & Duck to develop 6 fully animated panoramic illustrations to tell sustainability stories for each brand.
